Do you have that certain song that floods you with memories from yester-years every time you hear it?! I have! Not just a song but songs. Like certain songs trigger some memories of a certain period of my past. Weird, right?! I am nostalgic like that. I love to reminisce the good and the bad. Yes, even the bsd. And I certainly don’t regret my mistakes cause they are what made me, me. Ha! Hearing such songs takes me for a walk down memory lane.
Anyway, here’s a song that reminds me of my college/police academy days. Oh, the memories. They seem so fresh, like it just happened yesterday. 🙂

It has been a busy week. Too many chores to do, I barely have time to squeeze my gym time in between. My little ones aren’t so little. Often, their curiousness gets them in trouble. Little not so appealing attitudes are emerging as well… it makes me question if my parenting is failing.
But you know what, time to take a break. I am so stressed and maybe, just maybe, enjoying a good old song just might help. I won’t be of much use if I’m in in the loony bin, right?

Lot’s of people love anything old or in a poshier term, vintage. I love old architecture, art, music. Maybe the only thing I don’t like about vintage is the fashion. Don’t get me wrong, there are classic fashion that I adore but NOT ALL of them. I have wide pants and anything bulky to wear.
When it comes to music, I have a wide array of interests. I maybe someone you can call as flexible and I definitely consider myself an old soul. Here is one good old music for you folks!
Keep on Tryin’
It’s time for a breather. I just got done making an adorable crocheted baby blanket to give to hubby’s workmate as a baby shower gift. I am really happy to have given something handcrafted with lots of love in it. I am hoping the baby will love and I’m sure it’ll keep him warm and cozy.
On the other note, You may have noticed I am blogging less lately. Well, like any other mommies out there, life got in the way and I am busy playing with my new toy in the kitchen. If you follow me on Instagram, you know what I mean.:) I have been baking a lot since it is so much easier now to make dough from scratch. I have been listening to music a lot too. It keeps me calm and upbeat. I am really sorry for not blogging. I am actually at the brink of calling it quits with blogging. I am hanging by a thread. I have babies that needs me and being crafty with crocheting and baking is taking much of my time. I love doing it and it I feel fulfillment when I create something. But let’s take it slow for now. I have worked too much on this blog to just ditch it right away. Maybe somehow I will get my mojo back.:)
Let me leave you with this song that’s been playing in my brain for awhile now. Enjoy!
Just Give Me a Reason
by: P!nk feat. Nate Ruess
It’s been a while since I shared an awesome song with y’all. Sorry about that… I just wasn’t into doing anything lately and the weather is to blame. It’s been too cold and golly we are in Texas. This cold isn’t supposed to happen here regardless that it’s winter. This freezing cold weather is unnatural. Due to this we don’t go out at all. I just can’t bear the biting cold outside thus resulting to a serious case of cabin fever. My kids are bored out of their mind and I’m running out of activities for them to do now… Anyway, music keeps me still connected to the world and watching the XXII Winter Olympics too. I am a huge Olympics fan.
Trying Not To Love You
I have been a tad sick for a couple of days now. It’s nothing new about me, I’ve been quite sickly lately. So yeah, that’s why I haven’t been blogging much. Anyway, while in bed I listened/watched all sorts of music videos online. Mostly of my favorite bands like Ashes Remain, Nickelback and Lady Antebellum. I have a new favorite video. Just saw this yesterday and I can’t get enough of it.:)
Hello, everyone! I just want to share with you all this most heartwarming and heartbreaking video I found on YouTube.
This video displays the true meaning of love. Love for the family, love for your spouse and love for life. Love is undying. Even from the grave, this wonderful woman found a way to let her family know and feel how much she loves them. Please take some time to watch this video through the end. It’ll make you appreciate life more. I am sure you will cry your eyes out ones you watch this. I know I did.
Merry Christmas, everyone! Enjoy this season with your loved ones!
